International Wedgie Day

Years back, when the original wedgiegirls.com website was still up (you can still access it via the Wayback Machine if you're ever feeling nostalgic) they created something called International Wedgie Day. A day to celebrate wedgies basically. (EDIT: I spent a bit of time perusing the archive version of the old wedgiegirls site using the Wayback Machine and didn't actually find any reference to the day. I could have sworn there was some mention of it there though).

The day was April 2nd. I thought of this recently and wanted to know what others think about it. If I were to change anything about this day it would simply be also to make sure when we celebrate wedgies we celebrate the wedgie fetish and the fact we have other wedgie fetishists like ourselves who exist in the world.

So what do you all think about this concept? International Wedgie Day. Should we forget about it, or try to bring it back to the forefront of the community? Maybe we all contribute stories art etc in commemoration of the day and the wonderful part of ourselves we all need and share.

Also, on a separate note altogether, WedgieHaven is back in a new incarnation, and the site is open to those 16 and older. I personally believe wedgies are, in the context of wedgie fetishists, in and of themselves a sexual thing that arouses readers of stories and viewers of art. The founder of the board disagrees and says as long as there isn't any explicit sexual content between characters of a certain age, but there can be sexual content with a character who is 16 and another who is 21 for example, something that seems a little worrisome to me. Check out the site at forum.wedgiehaven.com and tell me what you think. Are wedgies sexual by themselves? Or is the only sexual thing that should be impermissible on that board is sex itself? I think for some of us wedgies are of course sexual. They may be the only thing sexually appealing and the only thing that may arouse us. So to say those underage are available to access content that is inherently sexual to those who would view it is something I think needs to be considered.

Again, any thoughts? Maybe I'm just wrong.
